June 1, 2008 -- Enter by this date to receive a $5.00 discount on your entry fee. (This means that student entries by this date are $10.00. All other entries by this date are $20.00.)

July 19, 2008 -- Final Deadline. All entries must be postmarked and in the mail to us by this date.

Entries are only be eligible for judging if accompanied by the appropriate entry fee.

Student films are $15 per entry. Please include proof of student status (a copy of your current student ID will do).

All other films are $25 per entry.

Please submit all entries on two (2) standard region 1 DVDs (- or +) which are playable on a stand-alone DVD player. These will be used as the judging copy and the screening copy. PLEASE test your burned DVDs in a stand-alone player before submitting them.

You may submit as many entries as you like, but each one must be on its own DVDs and have its own completed entry form and entry fee.

For the purposes of KIFF, "short films" are 40 minutes or less and "long films" are over 40 minutes. Please limit long film submissions to no longer than 120 minutes.

KIFF accepts narrative, documentary, and music videos and pretty much anything else that can fit in the "other" category. Please keep all submissions suitable for a PG-13 audience. At this time KIFF does not accept "rough cuts." If it's not quite finished, we shouldn't be able to tell.
